Sandblasting
Surface preparation is the most important part of powder coating. The end finish is only as good as what it's applied to. Sandblasting the surface of your material prior to coating provides an excellent surface for the powder coating to adhere to. Blasting also removes any rust or corrosion from your patio furniture.
Surface Cleaning and Prep.
Greasy or oily metal is aggitated in a vat of chemical cleaner/coater at ~180 degrees f. Sometimes called an "Acid Bath", it removes grease, grime and oil from metal surfaces. We then wipe the entire surface with tack-cloth to remove any particles. Nice and clean, we're ready for the next step.
Powder Coating
The powder coating process uses a dry powder that is electrostaticly applied to the metal. It is then put into an oven to cure at ~400 degrees f for roughly 30 minutes. Powder coating is much more durable than typical liquid paint, it resists cracking and peeling and is extremely resistant to abrasion, corrosion and chemicals.

Fabric Replacement
